HCL Ideas was an internal proof of concept to crowdsource solutions to everyday problems faced by employees. By reducing the friction to submit or review an idea, processes could be improved, new solutions generated and employees appropriately rewarded.
An outline, not a business case
A conscious decision was made to eschew the full HCL corporate brand guidelines in favour of a friendlier hand drawn look where possible. This emphasised the concept that submissions could be off-the-cuff rather than full business cases.
Participation and submissions were key; after which quality could be filtered through a public 'voting' system.
